Kristin the RD

Kristin Carlino, MS, RDN

Welcome! My name is Kristin Carlino. I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with nearly a decade of experience specializing in weight loss and weight management.

I currently run Jersey City Medical Center's innovative Food FARMacy program that I helped launch in early 2021. This wonderful program provides free nutrition education and free groceries to those most at need. My evenings are spent leading evidence based weight-loss classes through Mount Sinai Morningside's virtual weight loss program and counseling private clients at their convenience. Through my passion project GoodFoodBadDoodles, I have authored several nutrition guides and one book: The Ultimate Illustrated Nutrition Book for Beginners.

I attended Rutgers University-New Brunswick for my Bachelor's of Science in Nutritional Science-Dietetics, completed a dietetic internship program though The College of Saint Elizabeth, and obtained a Master's of Science in Food and Nutrition. I hold a certificate of training in both Adult Weight Management and Integrative and Functional Nutrition.

When I am not focused on nutrition, I am exploring the great outdoors either skiing, hiking, or rock climbing. I love being active and experimenting with new foods and meal plans to help me achieve my fitness goals.

What I DON'T do:
